Early Years Education - First Cycle

Bilingual System – Spanish Curriculum with Bilingual English Teaching

International School Peniscola uses the Spanish educational system with English as the vehicular language. This enables pupils to develop a high level of English proficiency.

As a private school specialising in linguistic immersion in early years education, we apply our language learning pyramid. This approach provides greater dedication to English in the initial stages, when the capacity for linguistic absorption is extraordinary, gradually adjusting hours as children acquire fluency.

At International School Peniscola (ISP), the first cycle of early years education takes place in a 100% English environment where every space has been designed for children’s wellbeing. Our bright and welcoming classrooms are specifically designed to stimulate their senses and awaken their natural curiosity, always under the watchful eye of educators who combine professionalism with great affection for each little one.

INNOVATIVE METHODOLOGY

As a school with more than 45 years of educational experience in early years education, we have developed a new method especially designed for children aged 1 to 3 that combines:

  • Natural learning through play.
  • Sensory and manipulative materials.
  • Thematic learning corners.
  • Interactive and creative activities.
  • STEM experiences (first contact with science, technology, engineering and mathematics in a natural, fun way adapted to their age).

COMPREHENSIVE AND AFFECTIONATE CARE

Our educators, specialised in early years education and with bilingual proficiency, provide personalised care to each child. They attentively attend to their basic needs for food, rest and hygiene, while accompanying the development of routines that promote their autonomy. They implement early stimulation programmes specifically designed to enhance all their abilities, complemented by emotional education carefully adapted to their developmental stage. This comprehensive approach ensures that each little one receives the attention they need to grow happy and secure.

COMMUNICATION WITH FAMILIES

Communication with families is fluid and constant, as they can visit the school daily and receive information about their children’s day-to-day activities through the interactive digital platform, as well as learning resources.

Would you like to be part of our educational community? We invite you to visit our facilities and discover how we can accompany your child in these important first steps of their life.
