The Summer Camp in Primary ISP is divided into two sections. Summer Young A (ages from 6 to 9) and Summer Young B (ages from 10 to 12).
For the Summer Young A we suggest the following combination of activities:
Routines:
The main aim of this section is to maintain and consolidate all those notions or subjects that are more relevant throughout the course. Each day we will dedicate a period of time to strengthen subjects and do the summer homework.
English:
As it is very important for every language to be in daily contact with it, our daily classes in English are maintained likewise throughout the school year, but outlining the classes in a more enjoyable way. We will take advantage of the Summer Young to carry out an Intensive Campus for Cambridge Exam Preparation* depending on ages, with listening, writing and speaking workshops, encouraging conversations in English among them. The Official Cambridge Exams will be held in our school in July and the students will obtain an official certificate of their English level.
Sports:
Throughout the Summer Young we will have a Sports Campus of football, basketball, baseball, handball, hockey and badminton, all of them adapted to their ages. We will arrange a Summer Sports Olympics for parents and students.
We will also have swimming classes, as we consider them necessary for the comprehensive education of the students. Parents will be invited to several demonstrations of their swimming classes, which will take place at the end of July.
Other workshops and trips:
We have also planned workshops of personal aesthetics, cooking, chess, visits to the ecological vegetable garden, environmental workshops, Arts & Crafts workshops and trips depending on their age:
3rd Primary school: Cycling and hiking trips (to La Marjal and Basseta Bovalar), as well as a Night Camp, when they will practise different sport activities, take a swim in the swimming pool at night, have dinner and sleep in the school.
For the Summer Young B we suggest the following combination of activities:
