As a private school, we understand that our students’ future success partly depends on their ability to navigate the digital world. That’s why we’ve developed a comprehensive program that promotes the acquisition of essential digital knowledge, skills, and attitudes enabling efficient management of devices, applications, and networks for communication and information access.
We align our program with the European Digital Competence Framework for Citizens, focusing on five core areas:
- Information and Media Literacy: We empower our students to critically analyze, locate, organize, process, and interpret information.
- Digital Communication and Collaboration: We train students to use technology responsibly for collaboration and active civic participation.
- Digital Content Creation: Our innovative approach encourages self-expression through a range of digital formats, always respecting copyright, licensing, and source attribution.
- Responsible Use: Risk management and overall well-being—physical, psychological, and social—are central to our educational approach.
- Digital Problem Solving: We equip students to identify and resolve technical issues, transferring their tech knowledge creatively across different contexts.
Digital competence is cross-curricular in nature and can be applied to a wide range of problems and situations in any subject area. It fosters participation, collaboration, motivation, and a genuine curiosity for learning.
